A plaintiff would serve his statement of claim (whether or not endorsed on the writ)
accompanied by a form explaining the abovementioned options for the defendant, a
measure that ought to be helpful to unrepresented litigants.
This scheme does not affect the making of admissions in relation to other types of
claim or at other stages of an action. Nor does it affect applications to the court for
judgment on admissions under the RHC.
